The purpose of this section is to provide background information and resources relating to the Grand Guignol.

This includes a history of the original Parisian theatre as well as information on the plays themselves and downloadable translations by the Theatre of the Damned team. We have also assembled a selection of other resources which we hope will be useful to other companies and individuals interested in finding out more about the Grand Guignol or horror theatre more generally.
